Community Empowerment through Local Potential Based Tourism Villages in Sumberpitu

Abstract
It is undeniable that tourism is currently one of the economic pulses of Indonesian citizens. Both in very well-known tourist attractions such as Bali and Yogyakarta, as well as nature-based tourist attractions such as in the Sumberpitu village area, Cepu district, Blora Regency. Sumberpitu village has extraordinary natural potential that can be utilized as a potential tourist village. However, the lack of attention from the government and human resources means that the potential of the tourist village in Sumberpitu has not been maximized. Therefore, this community empowerment activity aims to maximize the potential of Sumberpitu village as a new tourist destination in the Cepu district. This empowerment activity began on December 15, 2024 with the agenda of licensing at the village level and environmental observation. The next activity was a dialogue with the community which was held on December 20, 2024. The tourist attraction arrangement activity in Sumberpitu village was carried out on December 22, 2024-January 4, 2025.
